How a wallet-to-wallet crypto exchange works
Orbiswap organizes a wallet-to-wallet exchange around one order: select the assets and networks, review the quote, provide public wallet details, then follow the deposit and payout in the private tracker. The displayed order instructions remain the reference throughout.

Start
Exact asset and network
Ticker, chain and direction are selected together.
Execution
Current order instructions
Check the address, amount, network and any memo together.
Finish
Wallet payout
The destination receives the selected asset and network.
01
Choose the route before comparing the quote
Select the asset and network being sent, then the asset and network being received. USDT on TRON and USDT on Ethereum are different routes. Check that a quote is available for your amount, then review its rate type, output and expiry. A floating output is an estimate; a fixed amount, when offered, remains subject to the stated conditions.
- Select the source network that actually holds the balance.
- Select a payout network supported by the receiving wallet.
- Check that your requested amount produces an available quote, then review its rate type, output and expiry.
02
Provide public wallet details, never wallet secrets
The destination address identifies where the converted asset should arrive. The refund address supplies a compatible return destination if the deposit is eligible for a refund; providing it does not guarantee a refund. Copy a memo or tag when the receiving wallet supplies one. None of these fields requires a seed phrase or private key.
- Destination address: selected payout asset and network.
- Refund address: original deposit asset and network.
- Memo or tag: only when the receiving service supplies one.
03
Create the order and follow its displayed deposit instructions
Open the current order and compare its complete deposit address, asset, network, exact amount and any memo with the wallet send screen. A deposit address is not necessarily new or unique to your order. Even if it looks familiar, use the current instructions and retain the order reference. If you already sent funds, check the tracker and transaction before sending anything else.
- Verify the address on a trusted hardware-wallet screen when available.
- Leave enough native asset for the source-wallet network fee.
- Save the private tracking link before leaving the order.
04
Follow detection, confirmations, conversion and payout
Broadcast, confirmation, conversion and payout are separate events. A wallet can show “sent” before the deposit has the confirmations required for the exchange. Use the tracker to identify the current stage. When a payout hash is available, check it on the correct destination network; a broadcast alone does not prove that the receiving service has credited the funds.
- Waiting: check the source hash, address and actual network.
- Confirming: the provider detected the deposit and needs block depth.
- Sending: check the payout evidence and receiving wallet. For Monero, a public explorer does not reveal the recipient or amount.
WORKING CHECKLIST
Keep one order trail from deposit to payout
- Source asset and network match the wallet balance.
- Destination and refund wallets support their respective networks.
- The deposit uses only the current order instructions.
- Retain the private tracker and transaction hashes when available.
FAQ
Questions about this reference
Does Orbiswap hold an ongoing customer balance?
The exchange flow does not provide a reusable customer balance for later withdrawal. Once you send the deposit, those funds have left your source wallet and are handled during fulfilment until a payout or an eligible refund.
Why are both destination and refund addresses needed?
They serve different outcomes: the destination receives the converted asset, while the refund address is for a possible return of the deposited asset on its original network. This return address is separate from any fee-reimbursement request.
Can I cancel a blockchain transfer?
A confirmed transfer is generally irreversible. Stop before sending if any asset, network, address, amount or tag is uncertain.
What replaces an account dashboard?
The private tracking link shows the order stages and is the reference to retain for support or recovery.
